About The Position

Performs echocardiograms, including M-Mode, 2-Dimensional, conventional and/or color flow Doppler, and TEE echocardiograms. Performs pediatric echocardiograms and provides procedures for patients from newborn to maturity. Also provides electrocardiograms, 24-hour Holter monitor hook-ups, infant hearing screens, and stress testing. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of clinical experience.
• At least 6 months performing echocardiograms.
• Must have CCI, ARDMS, RDCS, or RCS certification. For new graduates, registration is required within one year from the hire date or transfer into the position.
• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS is required within 60 days of hire.

• One year performing echocardiograms.
