About The Position

Performs echocardiograms, including M-Mode, 2-dimensional, conventional and/or color flow Doppler, TEE echocardiograms, and pediatric echocardiograms. Also provides electrocardiograms, 24-hour Holter monitor hook-ups, infant hearing screens, and stress testing. Performs procedures for patients from newborns through adults, completes established competencies within the designated introductory period, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or have at least 6 months of clinical experience.
At least 6 months performing echocardiograms.
Must hold CCI, ARDMS, RDCS, or RCS certification. New graduates must obtain registration within one year from hire or transfer into the position.
Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support from ARC or AHA upon hire, and must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.

1 year performing echocardiograms.
