About The Position
The Echo Tech position involves performing echocardiograms utilizing various techniques and skills. The role operates within an acute-care setting where collaboration and proficiency in cardiac imaging are essential. The schedule is days, four 10-hour shifts per week. Holiday coverage is not required.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credential through ARDMS, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential through CCI.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience conducting echocardiograms in an acute-care hospital environment.
- Experience with inpatient, emergency, and outpatient cardiac imaging workflows.
- Familiarity with stress echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, or transesophageal echocardiography, as relevant to department services.
- Experience with electronic medical records, cardiovascular imaging systems, and image archiving systems.
- Additional relevant cardiac imaging credentials or specialty training.
