Echo Tech (Days)
About The Position
The Echo Tech works four 10-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours, on the AM shift. The role requires current BLS and either the RDCS credential through ARDMS or the RCS credential through CCI. Preferred experience includes performing echocardiograms in an acute-care hospital and supporting inpatient, emergency, and outpatient cardiac imaging workflows. Experience with stress, contrast, or transesophageal echocardiography is preferred where applicable to departmental services, as is experience with electronic medical records, cardiovascular imaging systems, and image archiving systems. Additional relevant cardiac imaging credentials or specialty training are also preferred.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification.
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) credential through ARDMS, or RCS credential through CCI.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience performing echocardiograms in an acute-care hospital setting.
- Experience with inpatient, emergency, and outpatient cardiac imaging workflows.
- Experience with stress echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, or transesophageal echocardiography, as applicable to departmental services.
- Experience with electronic medical records, cardiovascular imaging systems, and image archiving systems.
