About The Position

ARCXIS is seeking an ECC Inspector, either already certified or with the aptitude to be trained. This role involves testing HVAC systems according to Title 24 guidelines set by the State. ECC raters must be certified by one of the State Registries. ARCXIS is a leading engineering and inspections firm with nationwide coverage, specializing in new home construction and expanding into multi-family, multi-use, commercial, and pre-existing residential sectors.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be ECC Certified or willing to become ECC certified.
• Attention to detail and integrity in work.
• Ability to send in reports via computer or smartphone.
• Ability to climb high ladders and perform work in cramped spaces (attics and crawlspaces).
• Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy ladders and carry equipment heavier than 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• State-minimum auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle report.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Previous HVAC experience (Install or Tech) preferred.
• Experience in plumbing, attic work, insulation, or similar preferred.
• Ability to study and pass examinations related to HVAC testing.

Responsibilities

• Test HVAC systems based on Title 24 guidelines.
• Submit reports to the office via a web portal.
• Conduct multiple inspections each day.
• Travel to various locations, potentially over 80-120 miles per day.
