About The Position

ARCXIS is seeking an ECC Inspector, a role focused on testing HVAC systems according to Title 24 guidelines. This position is ideal for individuals who are already certified ECC Raters or possess the aptitude and willingness to be trained and certified. The company is experiencing a significant influx of work, particularly during the summer months, and is looking for dedicated individuals to join their growing team. ECC Raters are responsible for conducting tests on HVAC systems and submitting detailed reports. The role involves working independently, managing a schedule provided by the office, and utilizing a web portal for report submission. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be ECC Certified or be willing to become ECC certified.
  • Attention to detail and integrity in work.
  • Ability to send in reports via computer or smart phone.
  • Ability to climb on high ladders and perform work in cramped spaces (attics and crawlspaces).
  • Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions.
  • Ability to lift heavy ladders and carry equipment heavier than 50 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • State-minimum auto insurance.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must pass a background check and motor vehicle report.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous HVAC experience (Install or Tech) preferred.
  • Experience in plumbing, attic work, insulation, or similar preferred.
  • Ability to study and pass examinations related to HVAC testing.

Responsibilities

  • Test HVAC systems based on Title 24 guidelines.
  • Submit reports via computer or smart phone through a web portal.
  • Conduct multiple inspections each day.
  • Travel to various locations, potentially driving 80-120 miles per day.
  • Climb high ladders and work in cramped spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
  • Work in both hot and cold conditions.
  • Lift heavy ladders and carry equipment heavier than 50 pounds.
