About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a full time EC-1 COORDINATOR position. The role is located at Microsoft - 1 Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052. The EC-1 Coordinator will manage all incoming emails and requests for the Eventions planning team.

Responsibilities

  • Handle multiple daily catering, sports, and event booking requests.
  • Communicate available services, policies, and fees to clients.
  • Coordinate catering and housekeeping services for booked meetings.
  • Participate in planning meetings, review event details, address staff questions, and discuss logistical matters.
  • Organize and distribute event-related email communications.
  • Create reports, spreadsheets, and documents to organize event information.
  • Provide onsite event assistance.
  • Monitor staff and performance, Maintain communication logs with staff and managers.
  • Monitor and schedule staff meals and breaks.
  • Maintain thorough records and/or communications in shared office network.
  • Balances and drops receipts according to accounting specifications.
  • Provides guests with information about the facility, services, and amenities.
  • Receives special requests from guests, and responds appropriately or forwards requests to appropriate team members for decisions and actions.
  • Promptly answers the telephone and email inquiries.
  • Retrieves and forwards messages to/from guests.
  • Retrieves mail, packages and facsimiles or other special items for customers as requested.
  • Fields and resolves guest complaints or escalate for resolution to appropriate department.
  • Assists guests in emergency situations.
  • Maintains adequate supplies and functional equipment at the Front Desk.
  • Performs any special assignment deemed by the GM, Guest Services manager, or Manager on Duty.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
