About The Position

Daisy Sarasota is looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems. This role requires a valid Journeyman Electrician license, a strong work ethic, and the ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced field environment.

Requirements

Valid Journeyman Electrician license required
Strong knowledge of electrical theory, systems, and troubleshooting techniques
Proficient understanding of NEC and local electrical codes
Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and project coordination skills
Ability to interact courteously with team members
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the client's deployment market
This role requires operating a company-owned vehicle. Candidates must have an acceptable MVR.
This role involves regular lifting (up to 50 lbs.), carrying (up to 40 lbs.), stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders, standing, walking, and working with hands.
Color vision, depth perception, and hearing are required.
Journeymen are required to supply their own hand tools.

Nice To Haves

Preferred minimum 3 years of experience with residential electrical systems

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
Test and diagnose electrical systems using appropriate tools and devices
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople
Complete project worksheets accurately and on time
Maintain daily work calendar and time clock records
Check and respond to company email at minimum twice daily
Manage van inventory and submit transfer emails to Administrative Assistant as required
