About The Position

As our EB Account Executive, you will collaborate with the EB Producer/Adviser to effectively manage and oversee comprehensive client service, ensuring the delivery of thorough, accurate assistance, and effective problem resolution for clients.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of preferred experience in EB Account Management insurance.
  • Must hold a valid Colorado Life and Health Insurance license.
  • Ability to thrive in both team and independent work environments
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient reasoning skills; meticulous attention to detail and accuracy; adept at analyzing and interpreting complex and abstract situations.
  • Demonstrates effective management of multiple projects with a commitment to meeting deadlines, coupled with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to seeing projects through completion.
  • Upholds honesty, integrity, professionalism, and respect.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in utilizing a desktop or laptop computer, calculator, agency management system, and all Microsoft products, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook, is essential.
  • Must maintain an insurance license as mandated by the Colorado State Department of Insurance and Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services, LLC.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a stewardship plan and service timeline, outlining a twelve-month customer service strategy.
  • Provide clients with periodic progress reports and year-end service summaries.
  • Manage the renewal process for clients within the book of business, including initiating the renewal process, developing the RFP, identifying carriers, negotiating rates/contract terms, and preparing renewal proposals and relevant documents.
  • Support new business development in collaboration with the Producer. Obtain necessary information, create RFPs, communicate with prospective clients, and assist in meetings.
  • Provide day-to-day client service via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Anticipate client needs and respond to questions and issues promptly.
  • Identify, anticipate, and troubleshoot problems associated with the client's benefits program.
  • Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients and Employee Benefits Producer/Adviser.
  • Collaborate closely with Producer/Adviser(s) to ensure the retention of existing accounts.
  • Conduct enrollment and open enrollment meetings as needed.
  • Review contracts between carriers and clients.
  • Organize quotes and conduct analysis based on cost, network, and benefits.
  • Create a summary comparing available options for the client.
  • Utilize internal systems for continual communication with clients and administer proactive communication regarding ACA and other industry changes.
  • Efficiently use date management systems (EPIC), including attaching necessary documentation/correspondence with clients and ensuring the accuracy of client data through the Mountain West EB workflow.
  • Prepare all open enrollment systems and materials as requested by the client, adhering to Mountain West Client Service expectations.
  • Communicate and educate clients on the latest trends, concerns, and changes in the industry.
  • Manage complex accounts and high-level service deliverables effectively and efficiently.
  • Assist in growing the book of business through cross-sale opportunities when available.
