About The Position

The Naval Power, Electronic Airborne Systems Sub-Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Program Manager to support Sustainment and Depot Standup program execution. This position will specifically be responsible for multiple contracts across various phases of program life cycles, particularly depot and field support. This role requires the development of direct relationships and consistent interface with both internal leadership and customers from across the Department of War. This is an onsite position at our McKinney, TX facility.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Prior financial management or CAM experience
  • Prior Engineering Team/IPT Lead or Project management experience
  • Active Secret clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Program Management Level 6 Certification or equivalent
  • Strong business acumen to proactively identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Prior field support, sustainment, or depot standup experience
  • Earned Value Management experience managing cost, schedule, and/ or technical performance
  • Demonstrated success creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, government representatives, suppliers, and peers
  • Well-organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and Power point)
  • Strong communications skills

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of schedule milestones in alignment program execution requirements
  • Lead internal and external (Customer) program communication and reporting cadence, continuity, and content coordination
  • Execution, and reporting of labor budgets, financial management, and estimate at completion (EAC) development
  • Generate program risk and opportunity management plans, including CORE activities
  • Support leadership reviews, including Gate Reviews, Program Reviews, and Customer Reviews
  • Work closely with the Execution leadership team and functional leaders to integrate strategy, communications, planning, continuous improvement, and execution discipline
  • Display strong oral and written communication and presentation skills with senior leadership and external customers
  • Influence actions and change management
