About The Position

Make a living by making a difference. At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County, we don't just supervise kids-we build community leaders. If you are patient, energetic, and love helping children reach their milestones through play, we want to meet you. As an Early Learning Assistant, you are the backbone of our classroom. You'll work alongside a Lead Teacher to create a safe, fun, and high-energy environment for children (birth through age 10).

Requirements

A genuine passion for working with children.
The ability to stay patient and positive in a busy, high-energy environment.
A team player who is ready to jump in and help wherever needed.
Two years of experience supervising groups of children in a professional work environment.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Lead activities that promote physical, mental, and social development.
Assist with classroom management and daily routines.
Build positive relationships with families and fellow staff.
Gain valuable experience in the field of education and youth development.
