About The Position

About Play is seeking passionate, fun, creative, and committed Early Interventionists to join their team. This role involves serving families and children aged birth to six years who have developmental delays or disabilities in Aiken, North Augusta, and Edgefield counties in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, and possess great time management and organizational skills. The position offers on-the-job training for recent graduates with a degree in a related field.

Requirements

Must reside in South Carolina.
At least 1 year of experience working with children aged 0-6 years.
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or any related field.
Driver's License.
Reliable Car.
Willingness to travel 50-75%.
COVID-19 Vaccine is mandatory upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Prior early interventionist experience.
Prior teaching experience.
Prior early child development experience.
Recent and upcoming college graduate with a degree in a related field and a willingness for on-the-job training.
CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child).

Responsibilities

Deliver quality care to make a positive difference in the lives of children and families.
Serve families and children ages birth to six years with developmental delays or disabilities.
Travel to serve clients in Aiken, North Augusta, and Edgefield counties in South Carolina.
