About The Position

Young Interventions, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Speaking Early Intervention Specialist (EIS) in San Bernardino County, specifically in the San Bernardino Metro Areas (San Bernardino, Redlands, Yucaipa, Banning, Beaumont, Rialto, Highland, & surrounding areas). This position can be part-time or full-time, requiring at least 20 client hours per week plus drive time. The organization is committed to improving the quality of life for infants and toddlers with or at risk of developing developmental disabilities. The role involves working with children in family homes to implement personalized, family-focused treatment programs using a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model to help children reach developmental milestones. Home visits will be conducted in areas along the I-10 FWY, including San Bernardino, Redlands, Yucaipa, Banning, Beaumont, Rialto, Highland, and surrounding areas. Caseloads are centered around preferred locations when possible. Services may include a mix of in-person and virtual sessions based on client/family needs or preferences.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required (Child Development, Psychology, or related field).
Solid knowledge of basic stages of Infant / Toddler Child Development.
Minimum of 1-year experience working with children 0-5 years.
Hold a valid Driver's License.
Have reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
Maintain current Vehicle Insurance & Registration.
Maintain current CPR Certification (Infant, Child & Adult).
Have current TB.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Children with Special Needs is preferred.
Ability to speak and read fluently in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin is desired.

Responsibilities

Conduct home visits to implement personalized, family-focused treatment programs.
Utilize a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model.
Work with children aged 0-5 years.
Provide services in client homes.
Conduct virtual sessions when necessary due to illness or special circumstances.
Travel to various home-based sites throughout the day within a 30-mile radius.
