About The Position

Young Interventions, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Speaking Early Intervention Specialist to work with infants and toddlers who have or are at risk of developing developmental disabilities. The role involves implementing personalized, family-focused treatment programs using a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model to help children reach their developmental milestones. Services will primarily be provided in client homes within Northern San Diego County, with potential for virtual sessions. The organization is committed to improving the quality of life for young children and their families.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required (Child Development, Psychology, or related field)
Solid knowledge of basic stages of Infant / Toddler Child Development
Minimum of 1-year experience working with children 0-5 years
Hold a valid Driver's License
Have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various home-based sites throughout the day (within 30 mile radius)
Maintain current Vehicle Insurance & Registration
Maintain current CPR Certification (Infant, Child & Adult)
Have current TB

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Children with Special Needs is preferred
Ability to speak and read fluently in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin is desired

Responsibilities

Conduct home visits to implement personalized, family-focused treatment programs.
Utilize a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model.
