About The Position

Young Interventions, Inc. is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist in South Monterey County, serving areas like Greenfield, Soledad, Gonzales, King City, and surrounding communities. This role can be either part-time or full-time, requiring at least 20 client hours per week plus travel time. The organization is dedicated to improving the quality of life for infants and toddlers with or at risk of developmental disabilities. The position involves working with children in family homes to implement personalized, family-focused treatment programs using a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model to help children reach developmental milestones. Services will primarily be in client homes but may include virtual sessions due to circumstances like illness or client preference. Caseloads may be a mix of in-person and virtual services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required (Child Development, Psychology, or related field)
• Solid knowledge of basic stages of Infant / Toddler Child Development
• Minimum of 1-year experience working with children 0-5 years
• Hold a valid Driver's License
• Have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various home-based sites throughout the day (within 30 mile radius)
• Maintain current Vehicle Insurance & Registration
• Maintain current CPR Certification (Infant, Child & Adult)
• Have current TB

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with Children with Special Needs is preferred
• Ability to speak and read fluently in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin is desired
