About The Position

Young Interventions, Inc. is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist in South Monterey County, serving areas like Greenfield, Soledad, Gonzales, King City, and surrounding areas. This role can be part-time or full-time, requiring at least 20 client hours per week plus travel time. The organization is committed to improving the quality of life for infants and toddlers with or at risk of developmental disabilities. The position involves working with children in family homes to implement personalized, family-focused treatment programs using a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model. Services will primarily be in client homes but may include virtual sessions due to illness or special circumstances. Caseloads may be a mix of in-person and virtual services based on client needs and preferences. The company aims to center caseloads around preferred locations when possible.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required (Child Development, Psychology, or related field).
Solid knowledge of basic stages of Infant / Toddler Child Development.
Minimum of 1-year experience working with children 0-5 years.
Hold a valid Driver's License.
Have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various home-based sites throughout the day (within 30 mile radius).
Maintain current Vehicle Insurance & Registration.
Maintain current CPR Certification (Infant, Child & Adult).
Have current TB.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Children with Special Needs is preferred.
Ability to speak and read fluently in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin is desired.

Responsibilities

Implement personalized family-focused treatment programs for children in family homes.
Utilize a Routines-Based Parent Coaching Model to guide families.
Conduct home visits within Southern Monterey County.
Provide a mix of in-person and virtual services as needed.
Travel to various home-based sites throughout the day.
