Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Interdisciplinary early childhood education (IECE) certificate, a probationary or emergency IECE certificate, or a valid statement of eligibility for IECE certification issued by the Kentucky Educational Professional Standards Board, Division of Certification.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and provide treatment for pediatric patients between the ages of birth and three years with needs in the areas of physical, social-emotional, self-help, communication, and cognitive development.
Work primarily in children’s natural environments (homes, daycares, community centers, etc.) with the opportunity to work in other APT offices and contract locations.
Work closely with patients’ caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) through a Coaching Model.
Accurately document treatment sessions as well as progress or evaluation reports in detail.
Maintains professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities and upholds federal/state licensure and ethical expectations.
Evaluate and treat children from birth to age 3 for cognitive and social interaction skills to achieve highest level of functioning and to prevent regression.
