About The Position

Ulster County Community Action Committee is hiring a full-time, onsite Early Head Start Teacher in Kingston, NY. The role focuses on fostering young children's growth and development in a nurturing classroom environment. The teacher will prepare the classroom, lead hands-on activities and age-appropriate lessons, facilitate group discussions that promote social skills, communicate with parents and caregivers about children's progress, and collaborate with educators to implement individualized learning strategies. The expected schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay is $18.42 per hour. A fingerprint daycare background check is required.
