Early Childhood Teacher
About The Position
Early Learning Academies (ELA), at Little People's Landing Learning Centers, is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher who is passionate about positively impacting young children and providing an exceptional early learning experience. The role is open to candidates with prior childcare experience as well as those new to the industry, provided they meet the stated education and training qualifications. The teacher should enjoy working with children of all ages and be flexible in assisting in classrooms throughout the program. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, an age of at least 18, and a PDIS level 2 or higher or a degree in Early Childhood Education. Candidates must also meet applicable state, federal, and ELA requirements concerning education, experience, immunizations, employment physicals, and health and safety training and practices. A valid driver's license is required if driving is part of the position. The listed pay range is $18–$24 USD.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A PDIS level 2 or higher or a degree in Early Childhood Education is required.
- Must meet all applicable state, federal, and Early Learning Academies guidelines regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physical, and required health and safety training and practices.
- A valid driver's license is required if driving is a requirement of the position.
- Genuine love for working with children of all ages and flexibility to help in all classrooms across the program.
