About The Position

We are seeking Early Childhood Teachers to join the growing New Horizon Academy team in North Olathe, KS! We are looking for staff for the Infant, Toddler, Twos, Early Preschool, and Float classrooms. All applicants MUST meet state requirements for teacher qualification as defined by the Kansas Child Care Licensing Program, be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30 am - 6:00 pm, have a positive work ethic and a team-centered attitude, be willing to learn and grow as an educator, and enjoy working with children. Requirements

Meet state requirements for teacher qualification as defined by the Kansas Child Care Licensing Program.
Be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30am-6:00pm.
Have positive work ethic, and a team-centered attitude.
Be willing to learn and grow as an educator.
Enjoy working with children!
Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
Has a passion for working with young children.
Has interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or a related field.
Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
