About The Position
The Learning Experience - East Brunswick is seeking a caring and energetic Early Childhood Teacher to join our 2-year-old classroom. Two-year-olds are building language, independence, confidence, and social skills at an incredible pace. We're looking for a teacher who can provide the structure and nurturing support young children need while turning their natural curiosity into meaningful opportunities to learn, play, and grow.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous daycare, preschool, childcare, or experience working with young children preferred
- Experience working with toddlers or 2-year-olds is a plus
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
- Patient, nurturing, dependable, and energetic
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements

Responsibilities
- Support daily routines and learning experiences for children around 2 years old
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Engage children through art, music, movement, sensory play, stories, and hands-on activities
- Support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence, self-help skills, and positive peer interactions
- Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance
- Observe children's development and maintain required classroom documentation
- Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
- Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
