About The Position
The Learning Experience – Cascade is seeking a caring and dependable Early Childhood Teacher to support classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This role focuses on creating a structured and engaging environment where children build confidence, independence, and early learning skills through hands-on experiences. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working with a variety of age groups in a collaborative early childhood setting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior childcare experience preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable and nurturing approach to working with young children
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Support daily classroom routines across multiple age groups
- Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers
- Encourage social-emotional development and classroom participation
- Communicate regularly with families and team members
- Follow all Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies
