About The Position

As a part-time early childhood teacher at Gallup’s Child Development Center (CDC), you will teach Gallup associates’ young children in a fun educational environment. In our play-based classrooms, indoor water room, indoor gyms and outdoor playground, you will create engaging activities that cultivate a love for learning and social development for each child. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma
A passion for working with children ages 8 weeks to 5 years required
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds required
A commitment to working on-site at Gallup’s Omaha office at least four days a week within the hours of 3-6 p.m., Monday-Friday, required; schedule is flexible, but must work at least 10 hours per week
Eligibility to work in the U.S. required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

Observe behaviors, plan activities and facilitate learning for young children
Collaborate with world-class teachers about milestone development, classroom management, parent communication and developmentally appropriate practices
Learn about strengths spotting in young children and foster their development in areas where they uniquely shine
