About The Position

Primrose School of Lake Elmo is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher for an afternoon preschool/Pre-K classroom. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with no nights or weekends. The position may grow into full-time work if the employee is interested. The teacher builds nurturing relationships with children and guides them through the school’s time-tested Balanced Learning curriculum, delivered through a digital platform. Training and ongoing staff development are provided.

Requirements

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
• Experience in early childhood education and preschool settings.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children.
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans provided by the school.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning space.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
