About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher for its Pre-K classroom at The Malvern School of Blue Bell. The position is Monday through Friday. The Assistant Teacher helps implement the school’s Early Childhood Education program in accordance with its policies and philosophy, maintains a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment, and communicates regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding their expectations.

Requirements

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2,500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility; alternatively, 15 relevant college credits or a CDA and at least 1,250 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, both in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
