About The Position

This unique opportunity combines the responsibilities of an Early Childhood Teacher with those of an Educational Leader, giving you the opportunity to influence learning outcomes both within your classroom and across the wider centre. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you'll ignite children's love of learning through purposeful, engaging teaching practices that encourage curiosity, confidence, and independence. As Educational Leader, you'll work collaboratively with educators and the Centre Leadership Team to strengthen educational practice, support reflective learning, and champion continuous improvement. You'll deliver engaging, high-quality early learning experiences, build meaningful relationships with children and families, lead and inspire educational practice across the centre, mentor and support educators to strengthen their pedagogy, champion the Early Years Learning Framework and quality educational practice, support reflective practice, curriculum development, and continuous improvement, and collaborate with centre leadership to achieve exceptional outcomes for children. Goodstart Robertson is a warm, inclusive and multicultural centre supporting children from Nursery through to Kindergarten, with an experienced and stable team. Requirements

Bachelor or Master of Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
Current QLD Working with Children Check
Current First Aid qualification
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Passion for mentoring educators, leading educational practice and driving continuous improvement
Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via the Geccko platform
