About The Position

Kennebec Valley Community Action Program (KVCAP) is seeking a self-motivated and dynamic full-time Early Childhood Supervisor for their Educare location. This role involves implementing a comprehensive program for children aged 0-3 years in Infant/Toddler classrooms. The supervisor will provide leadership to classroom teaching teams and foster a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Care & Education or related field.
• 5 years paid experience in Early Care and Education (birth-age 5).
• 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication (written & verbal) and documentation skills.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrate group management skills.
• Ability to travel out of state.
• Able to meet requirements of agency & State of Maine Child Care Licensing regulations for background checks, fingerprinting, and physical exams.

• Master’s degree in Early Care & Education or related field.
