Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
About The Position
The Early Childhood Special Education Teacher provides district-wide specialized instruction and support to children ages 3–5 with disabilities who are enrolled in the blended Preschool for All program. The teacher collaborates with the Preschool for All General Education Teacher to plan and implement inclusive, developmentally appropriate instruction, address individual student needs, and promote learners’ academic, social-emotional, communication, and functional development. The teacher serves as case manager for assigned students, develops and writes Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitors progress toward goals, and ensures compliance with special education requirements. The position also involves collaboration with families, related service providers, and district staff to support effective service delivery and student success.
Responsibilities
