About The Position

The Clark County School District (CCSD) is seeking qualified candidates for the 2026-2027 school year for the position of Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Autism-KIDS Teacher at McCall ES. This role is part of the Early Childhood Special Education program, specifically focusing on the Autism-KIDS initiative. Requirements

  • Valid Nevada Teaching License with an endorsement in Special Education (Early Childhood Special Education or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with young children with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and special education methodologies.
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Completion of a seven-year work history on the application, including periods of unemployment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction and support to young children with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other professionals to support student development.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Participate in professional development and team meetings.
