About The Position

The Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Autism-KIDS Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to young children with autism spectrum disorder. This role involves developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborating with families and other professionals, and creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. The teacher will utilize evidence-based practices to promote the development of social, communication, cognitive, and adaptive skills in young learners.

Requirements

Valid Nevada Teaching License with an endorsement in Special Education (Early Childhood Special Education preferred).
Experience working with young children with autism spectrum disorder.
Knowledge of early childhood development and special education principles.
Ability to develop and implement IEPs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with families and colleagues.
Completion of the full seven-year work history, including periods of unemployment, in the "Experience and Credential" section of the application.

Nice To Haves

Endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education.
Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
Bilingual skills (Spanish/English).

Responsibilities
