About The Position

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of preschool students this fall! Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to support an early childhood program in Chicago Ridge, IL during the 2026–2027 fall semester. Support preschool students by providing social-emotional interventions during a short-term FMLA coverage assignment. Manage a specialized caseload while maintaining compliance with IEPs, documentation, and state requirements. Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student growth and implement behavioral supports. Provide crisis support and connect students and families with appropriate community resources.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Active Illinois Social Worker License
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement
