About The Position

Bay Area Rehabilitation Center’s Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program is seeking a motivated and experienced Early Childhood Intervention Specialist to provide support and services to infants and toddlers ages 0–3 with developmental delays or disabilities, as well as their families. The role involves flexible travel to children’s homes or other community sites for service delivery, with virtual services offered when applicable. The position is described as hybrid remote.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in early childhood education, special education, or a related field.
• Experience working with young children with developmental delays or disabilities.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for early childhood intervention.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of children and families.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Early Childhood Intervention or a related field.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify developmental delays or disabilities in children.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for children and families.
• Provide direct services to children and families, including therapy and service coordination.
• Collaborate with professionals such as speech therapists and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care.
• Monitor progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
• Educate families on strategies to support their child's development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided.
