About The Position

Triumph supports the education, well-being, and self-sufficiency of young children and their families through high-quality early childhood programs and community engagement. The Early Childhood Classroom Assistant assists classroom teaching staff in facilitating and guiding activities for infant/toddler or preschool classrooms. The role helps maintain a safe, neat, organized learning environment that is welcoming, nurturing, and high functioning. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, for 46 weeks per year. The assistant must be available to work a shift between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The salary range is $17.90–$24.15 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Requirements

Minimum high school diploma.
Must have or commit to enroll in a CDA credential program to be completed within no less than two years from hire, or be enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program.
Must be EEC Infant/Toddler or Preschool Teacher certified, or have a pending application for teaching certification.
Knowledge and experience in early childhood education and developmentally appropriate practices.
Ability to work successfully in a team setting and remain flexible to change with a positive approach.
Must be available to work a shift between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
