About The Position

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA) is seeking an Early Career Environmental Engineer/Scientist with 0-5 years of consulting experience to support environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, site investigation, and remediation practices in their Edina, MN office. The role involves working with a team of Scientists, Engineers, Project Managers, and Principals, with expectations for both field and office work. The candidate will gain experience in field documentation, various types of sampling (soil, groundwater, soil vapor), monitoring well installation and sampling, and records review/data analysis. GZA emphasizes professional growth through mentorship and a collaborative, "One Company" environment, where team members may assist on projects outside their primary responsibilities. Office work includes preparing field documentation, data analysis, and reporting, with potential exposure to Ecological Services, Construction Management, and Geotechnical practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering/Science or related field
  • 0-5 years of related environmental consulting or other relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical capabilities
  • Ability to perform technical execution of projects under the supervision of project managers
  • Ability to follow directions, and work independently or in a team setting
  • Strong communication skills, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office suite
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday with occasional evenings and weekends
  • Ability to travel locally and throughout the nation
  • A valid driver’s license in good standing
