Requirements

  • Solid working knowledge of engineering first principles
  • Proficient writer and communicator
  • Ability to work both independently and with others
  • Ability to communicate and work closely with senior engineers and clients to solve problems
  • Interest in working at client locations or other sites as projects require
  • Excellent academic record
  • Highly motivated proactive individuals
  • Robust analytical skills, including the ability and passion to problem solve
  • Aptitude to work outside of a single engineering discipline and quickly learn new concepts
  • Persistent, questioning attitude and ability to accept that in others

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced computer skills
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C++ or Python
  • Familiarity with analysis programs such as Ansys or MATLAB-Simulink®
  • Familiarity with design programs such as SolidWorks

Responsibilities

  • Applying insight, management skills, advanced technology, physical system modelling, and/or data analytics to improve facility or equipment operations, maintenance, reliability, and/or performance.
  • Applying technical and project/risk management skills to effectively deploy new technology and/or major capital projects.
  • Specifying, designing, procuring, and testing novel power, process industry, or medical device systems or components.
  • Developing technical expertise as well as increasing responsibility for project management, supervision, client relations, and business development.
