About The Position

This is a full-time Early Care and Education Specialist position that requires bilingual proficiency in English and Russian. The role involves working with children and requires specific educational qualifications, permits, and experience in early childhood education. Requirements

Bilingual – English/Russian (Required)
ECE Specialist I: Must have at least 12 ECE/CD units including core courses.
ECE Specialist I: Possession of Child Development Associate Teacher or higher Permit Required.
ECE Specialist I: One (1) year as a teacher in a program for children in a licensed center or family child care home.
ECE Specialist II: AA/AS DEGREE IN ECE/CD/HD OR 24 ECE/CD/HD UNITS INCLUDING CORE COURSES PLUS 16 GE UNITS PLUS 6 SPECIALIZATION UNITS PLUS 2 ADULT SUPERVISION UNITS.
ECE Specialist II: Possession of current Child Development Teacher Permit or higher Required.
ECE Specialist II: Minimum of two years’ experience working as a Teacher in a licensed child care center or family child care home.
ECE Specialist II: At least two years’ experience in completing Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP).
Current CPR & First Aid certification, and Health & Safety in Child Care Setting course.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Fingerprint and criminal clearances required.
Must have a Clean Motor Vehicle Record, a valid CA Driver License, Registered and Insured Vehicle.
Pre-employment physical, TB clearance, current measles and pertussis vaccines required.

Nice To Haves

ECE Specialist I: 24 ECE/CD/HD units including core courses preferred.
ECE Specialist I: Knowledge of DRDP preferred.

Responsibilities

Work as an Early Care and Education Specialist (either I or II level).
Complete Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP) assessments (required for Specialist II, preferred for Specialist I).
Maintain required certifications and clearances, including CPR & First Aid, Health & Safety in Child Care Setting, fingerprint and criminal clearances, and pre-employment physical, TB clearance, measles and pertussis vaccines.
Possess and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record, a valid CA Driver License, and a registered and insured vehicle.
