About The Position

The E2G Program Coordinator will serve as the operational backbone of a program designed to help small businesses grow, create jobs, and strengthen the local economy. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth participant experiences, maintaining compliance, and providing reliable data to drive program success. The position is grant-funded and falls under the Academic Affairs & Initiatives department, specifically within the Energy & Advanced Technologies sub-department at Fletcher Technical Community College.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Administrative or clerical experience, ideally in education, grant-funded programs, or workforce development.
  • Proficiency with standard office and data-entry software (e.g., Microsoft Office/Google Workspace).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain compliance with federal recordkeeping requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or related post-secondary coursework.
  • Experience supporting grant-funded initiatives, compliance reporting, or audit preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day program operations: scheduling, intake processing, recordkeeping, and document management.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready participant files and eligibility documentation in compliance with 2 CFR Part 200.
  • Process purchase requisitions, procurement requests, and supporting documentation accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate logistics for classes, sessions, meetings, outreach events, and intake activities.
  • Enter and update participant data in the tracking system with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and organize materials for quarterly reporting, recordkeeping, and audits.
  • Support partner and participant communications and outreach efforts.
  • Participate in program and college events, meetings, professional development, and committee service as needed.
  • Uphold a respectful, inclusive, and professional environment for participants, partners, and colleagues.
