About The Position

DWS Energy is a rapidly expanding, multidisciplinary electrical construction company focused on commercial and utility-scale solar and battery storage, building controls wiring, and electrical pre-fabrication. The E2 – Electrical role builds on foundational skills and takes on more complex work involving the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building management systems. The role is intended for someone with some experience who is ready to advance a career in electrical controls installation. The E2 performs building management system installations with minimal supervision, handles complex electrical conduit and cable installations, diagnoses and repairs system issues, follows safety protocols, and assists Level I apprentices. The employee collaborates with team members and project managers to complete projects on time. Physical work includes lifting and carrying equipment and materials, prolonged standing, kneeling, bending and walking, working safely on ladders, and occasional exposure to outdoor weather at job sites. Requirements

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in electrical systems and building management installations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various environments.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials.
Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods and walk job sites for prolonged periods.
Ability to work safely on a ladder.
Ability to occasionally lift at least 35 pounds solo and 50 pounds with a second person.

Nice To Haves

Construction industry experience is preferred.
Additional technical training or certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

Install building management systems with minimal supervision, including wiring, controls, and related components.
Perform complex electrical conduit and cable installations with precision and in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
Diagnose and repair system issues to ensure optimal performance.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Mentor and assist Level I apprentices by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
