About The Position

DWS Energy is a multidisciplinary electrical construction company specializing in commercial and utility-scale solar and battery storage, building controls wiring, and electrical prefabrication. The E2 – Electrical role builds on foundational skills and involves increasingly complex work installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting building management systems. The position performs installations with minimal supervision and may mentor Level I apprentices.

Requirements

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in electrical systems and building management installations.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various environments.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Able to lift and carry equipment and materials.
Able to stand, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods.
Able to work safely on a ladder.
Able to walk job sites for prolonged periods.
Able to occasionally lift at least 35 pounds alone and 50 pounds in tandem lifts.

Nice To Haves

Construction industry experience is preferred.
Additional technical training or certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

Install building management systems, including wiring, controls, and related components, with minimal supervision.
Install electrical conduit and cables for complex projects, following project specifications and safety standards.
Diagnose and repair system issues to ensure optimal performance.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
Mentor and assist Level I apprentices, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Collaborate with team members and project managers to complete projects on time.
