About The Position

Reed City High School is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable E-Sports Coach for the upcoming seasonal period. The coach will mentor high school students and develop their e-sports skills by coaching a team, organizing practices and competitions, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment. The role also involves preparing the team for competitions, evaluating player performance, communicating with players, parents, and school administration, and helping organize e-sports events and community outreach initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience in competitive gaming or e-sports coaching is preferred.
• Strong understanding of popular e-sports titles and their competitive scenes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students and parents.
• Ability to motivate and inspire high school students.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends during the competitive season.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check as required by the school district.

Nice To Haves

• A background in education or coaching is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
