About The Position

Founded in Santa Clara County in 1928, Goodwill of Silicon Valley is dedicated to improving employment opportunities, increasing standards of living, providing economic independence, and restoring our clients’ sense of self-worth. Requirements

• Ability to quickly grasp new software applications.
• Ability to write creatively and articulately in English.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and average.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic math when working on spreadsheets and reports.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work well with others in a close office environment.
• The ability to enter data efficiently and accurately and proper handling of confidential information.

Nice To Haves

• E-commerce research and listing experience, or equivalent knowledge from personal online sales experience, preferred.
• Working knowledge of one or more of Goodwill’s donated goods categories preferred.
• An amiable and welcoming attitude, with the ability to make people feel at ease.
• The ability to work independently and in groups, while maximizing time and resources.
• The ability to reason and make judgments.
• Strong ability to understand and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned listing quota per assigned product categories.
• List items accurately in accordance with training and standards.
• Use a mobile device to take pictures of items.
• Ensure clean, organized work and storage areas.
• Maintain and adhere to all agency policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally either orally or in writing.
