About The Position

Assist the Store e-Commerce Manager in managing the day-to-day operation of the store’s e-Commerce department. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. The e-Commerce Department Lead helps coordinate department operations, supports and trains selectors and customer attendants, and acts as the person in charge of the department when the Store e-Commerce Manager is unavailable. The role includes maintaining customer order flow, department supplies and equipment, and clean and organized staging areas while supporting a safe, cooperative, customer-focused work environment.

Requirements

Proven supervisory experience.
Ability to read shelf tags.
Basic knowledge of computers.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Basic math skills, including counting, addition, and subtraction.
Self-directed, with the ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a production-oriented environment or warehouse environment, stocking shelves, or cashier experience.

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
Ensure team members follow local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
Perform selector and customer attendant responsibilities as needed, in accordance with company guidelines.
Train team members in the functions and duties of selector and customer attendant roles.
Act as the person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce Manager is unavailable.
Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associate needs.
Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute and assign work to selectors and customer attendants.
Print and distribute order labels, including orders for perishable departments.
Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
Maintain the supplies needed to perform required duties.
Maintain the organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
Report pricing, scanning, item-location discrepancies, and invalid temperature types to the Store e-Commerce Manager.
Perform required opening and closing procedures.
Learn and implement process improvements as directed by the division or enterprise e-Commerce team.
Provide feedback on team members’ daily performance and annual performance reviews.
Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
Act honestly and with integrity regarding customer and business information.
Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults.
