About The Position

Benesch is seeking an e-Billing Specialist for its Chicago office. This position is hybrid and offers work from home flexibility. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented problem solver with e-billing experience who wants to make a tangible difference in the financial success of the organization. The e-Billing Specialist will process the flow of computerized billing from inception to final product, including narrative edits and transfers, unbilled write-offs, and distribution of month-end prebills and reports for specific timekeepers accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

High School Diploma
Minimum of 3 years of relevant client billing experience
Typing speed of 60 WPM
10-key machine by touch
Proficient in Excel and Word
Understanding of E-invoicing systems
Excellent customer service attitude
Flexibility to work overtime as necessary

Responsibilities

Understanding of start to finish billing process and procedures
Understanding of multiple e-billing sites and requirements
Monitor BillBlast/e-billing systems for submissions and rejections.
Work with billing and collections team to solve e-billing issues.
Communicates properly and promptly with BFCA personnel and external contacts at all times and must exhibit a high level of customer service at all times.
Process / follow up appeals as needed.
Review invoices for OCG requirements.
Ability to enter rates/accruals into different systems.
Ability to problem solve and critically think.
Ability to work alone and also in a team setting.
Performs other duties as assigned.
