About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Production Support Engineer to support and operate the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) platform. This role serves as the primary operational owner for D365 application support, environment management, release management, platform administration, and Month-End Close (MEC) support. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Dynamics 365 F&O, Microsoft Azure, Lifecycle Services (LCS), Power Platform, and enterprise ERP operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, managing application lifecycle activities, executing maintenance window deployments, coordinating platform updates and patches, supporting financial close processes, and driving operational excellence across the D365 ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for D365 Finance & Supply Chain operations across Source-to-Pay (S2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Project-to-Fixed Assets (P2FA), and Acquire-to-Dispose (A2D).
  • Troubleshoot application, workflow, integration, batch, and data issues.
  • Drive root cause analysis and permanent resolutions.
  • Coordinate and support end-to-end Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End close activities.
  • Monitor critical financial processes, batch jobs, and integrations to ensure timely and successful close execution.
  • Partner closely with Finance and business stakeholders during critical close periods.
  • Administer D365 environments through Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC).
  • Manage Production, UAT, FUT, SIT, Development, and Data Migration environments.
  • Execute environment refreshes, restores, cloning, migrations, and operational readiness activities.
  • Lead production deployments during planned maintenance windows.
  • Execute code releases, configuration migrations, and application deployments using Azure DevOps.
  • Manage change governance, implementation planning, testing coordination, validation, and rollback procedures.
  • Plan and execute D365 One Version updates, platform releases, hotfixes, and emergency patches.
  • Perform impact assessments, regression coordination, and post-deployment stabilization activities.
  • Support and monitor integrations including DMF, Dual Write, Dataverse, Electronic Reporting, Document Routing Agent, Azure services, middleware platforms, and third-party ISVs.
  • Administer Azure resources supporting D365, including: Storage Accounts, Key Vaults, Managed Identities, Service Principals, Application Registrations, Certificates, Connectivity components.
  • Monitor application health, batch processing, integrations, and environment performance.
  • Maintain operational runbooks, support documentation, and monitoring processes.
