About The Position

Worldwide TechServices is seeking a Dynamic PC Support technician to perform repair tasks on a variety of client products. The role involves basic and moderately complex troubleshooting of desktops and laptops and may include support for desk-side applications and infrastructure. The technician interacts directly with clients to address technical issues promptly and accurately. The position pays $17.00 per hour, with an additional incentive for each call closed.

Requirements

• Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent and 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Maintain all required OEM certifications as directed by management.
• Knowledge of relevant software and hardware.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance.
• Ability to communicate with clients about technical issues.
• Ability to drive to client locations and drive long distances, with occasional overnight assignments in other geographies.
• Ability to lift or move computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must own a basic repair tool kit.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support for designated equipment.
• Answer client questions professionally.
• Accept and deliver assigned service calls within each client's established service level agreement.
• Meet customer service satisfaction criteria outlined in established guidelines and policies.
• Complete administrative tasks associated with each call according to established policies and guidelines.
• Complete real-time reporting of calls according to established policies and guidelines.
• Follow established policies, guidelines, and documents for successful service delivery to each client.
• Control assets and inventory by promptly turning around parts and equipment as required by client service agreements.
• Report all activity accurately and promptly.
• Understand and follow safety policies and guidelines daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
