About The Position

Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ), a network of imaging centers formed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne, provides imaging and associated medical care throughout the South Denver area. The centers offer MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-ray, and image-guided biopsies. ISJ’s mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities it serves by providing high-quality imaging and medical care.

The DXA Technologist works part-time on weekends, on Saturdays and/or Sundays, at the Golden or Littleton (Southwest Plaza) location. The position reports to the Regional Manager of Clinical Operations. New graduates are welcome to apply. The estimated base wage is $29.00 to $37.00 per hour. Saturday work receives an additional differential of 15% of base wage per hour, and Sunday work receives an additional differential of 20% of base wage per hour. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.

Requirements

• ARRT (R) certification.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently.
• Exemplary patient care and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform DXA exams and provide high-quality images.
• Determine appropriate exposure factors on DXA equipment and prepare patients for DXA exams.
• Complete related documentation and obtain an interpretation for each exam.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Manage patient priority and act as a first responder when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
