About The Position

BodySpec is hiring a licensed Radiologic Technologist to specialize in DEXA bone density and body composition scanning at its Miami storefront and community events using mobile scan vans. This DEXA-only role focuses on preventive health and provides a calm, patient-facing work environment with varied settings. The technologist delivers one-on-one client experiences, explains scan results, and helps clients understand their health information. The role includes responsibility for scanning-day setup and breakdown, light administrative tasks, and equipment care. The company provides a paid training week in Austin, Texas, and required device-specific bone densitometry training. The position is full-time on a fixed Wednesday–Sunday schedule, with eight-hour shifts and start times typically between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., depending on the location and event timing.

Requirements

Be based in Miami, Florida, and able to work in person at the storefront and mobile events.
Be available full-time on a fixed Wednesday–Sunday schedule, including both weekend days every week.
Hold an active Florida General Radiographer certification issued by the Florida Department of Health.
Hold ARRT certification.
Graduate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
Have a valid driver's license.
Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Be able to thrive with direct, unfiltered feedback.

Responsibilities

Perform DEXA scans for clients at the Miami storefront and at community events using mobile scan vans.
Provide a polished one-on-one experience for clients.
Explain scan results to clients and answer their questions with warmth and clarity.
Manage scanning-day setup and breakdown at the storefront or mobile events.
Complete light administrative work and care for equipment between scans.
Assist with other tasks requested by the Leadership Team.
