About The Position

Performs radiographic exams at a technical level that does not require constant supervision of technical detail, including a variety of exams requiring independent judgment. Assumes responsibility for designated clinic exam areas as needed, remains flexible as needs arise, and is willing to acquire new skills or perform different work while adapting to a changing environment. May be asked to float to hospital or other clinic locations. Responsible for cleaning and stocking x-ray exam rooms.

Requirements

Thorough knowledge of general diagnostic radiography, including surgical, portable, and orthopedic studies.
Appropriate oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and exercise independent judgment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment while managing multiple priorities.
ARRT Registration and Certification.
Current Oregon State Radiologic Technologist License.
Current BLS through the American Heart Association.
Maintain continuing education requirements specified by the State of Oregon and ARRT.
Knowledge of medical terminology and verbal and clerical skills.
Generally good health and ability to perform the physical demands of the position.

Responsibilities

Float to hospital or other clinic locations when requested.
Clean and stock x-ray exam rooms.
Participate in holiday coverage rotation as required.
Use mobile radiographic equipment as needed for patient care.
Transport patients and assist with patient transfers and lifting as needed.
