About The Position
Oakview Veterinary Hospital is seeking compassionate, team-oriented, and communicative veterinary students from AVMA-accredited institutions for a DVM Student Externship. This program offers a unique opportunity for students in their 1st through 4th year to gain real-world experience and enhance their education. The hospital has been providing comprehensive veterinary care for over 40 years to a wide variety of pets in Miami and Shelby counties and the greater Dayton area. They pride themselves on treating every pet with skill, compassion, and a personal touch in a clean, safe environment. The externship is located in Piqua, a friendly small city with access to amenities and close proximity to Troy, Tipp City, and Dayton.
Requirements
- Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
- Compassionate, Team Player, and Strong Communicator.
