About The Position
Oakview Veterinary Hospital is seeking compassionate, team-oriented, and communicative veterinary students from their 1st through 4th year to participate in a paid externship. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience and enhance education through hands-on learning in a supportive environment. The hospital has been providing comprehensive veterinary care for a wide variety of pets in the Miami and Shelby counties and the greater Dayton area for over 40 years. The externship provides a chance to learn from experienced professionals and potentially explore future career opportunities within the practice, including partnership track programs and access to a DVM mentor network.
Requirements
- Must be an active veterinary student from an AVMA accredited institution.
- Must be a compassionate, team player, and strong communicator.
- Must be a 1st through 4th year veterinary student.
